Mamool Besieged
Jun/094
So I was just running around earlier selling my Pterygotus that I caught for skillup (sadly they didn’t break all those Mithran Fishing rods that I made). Anyway, the besieged warning came and I thought this would be a good chance to re-make all those macros that I lost with the old laptop.
I managed to squeeze in all the gear change…. but not the actual spells yet. More things to do for tomorrow then!
More Cooking
Jun/090
I got a reminder from my website host that this wordpress script needed to be updated. So I went to tweak the site a bit and after reading through the posts… I remembered how fun FFXI was, despite the ungodly tedious missions.
So I decided to play for a bit, and then I found that I’ve been saving a few stacks of dragon meat for Red Curry, since my cooking mule is at lvl 99 already. It was Firesday after I was finished with the cooking GP, perfect timing for a little skillup. So I bought a stack of each Red Curry’s ingredients, thinking I could probably only gained a point or two in skillup. I unequipped my cooking apron and hat, then held my breath while I started synthesising. Imagine my surprise when I steadily gained 0.1 points… I got a 0.7 total skillup from a stack of ingredients, bringing my cooking level to 99.7 ^_^ I was tempted to just get another stack of ingredients, but due to inventory constraints… :/
Hopefully I’ll get my 100 in the next session.
Maple Story
Jan/080
Again, I got bored of the routine of FFXI. I stumbled onto a simple MMORPG that I tried way back in 2004 when I was still in the States, Maple Story. It is quite interesting as it’s simple to play, free (if you’re not interested customising your character) and I’m not all powerless as a *what else* magician.
I thought I’d stop after a few days, but apparently I was wrong. I keep wanting to play more MS instead of FFXI and now my magician is lvl 25
Trudging on..

I put my flag up for *only* an hour before I got a blind invite from a BLU. The party came with a PL which makes it a little awkward because at times I’m just not sure whether I should be healing or just plain nuking. It was only after the PL-er screamed {Elemental Magic} only!! that I just don’t care about the yellow HP bar… I’m a RDM, so I dont wanna be blamed if there’s any death.
We partied for about three hours in which the members left one by one and in the end it was only me, THF, the BLU and the PL. I toughed it out just cause I want to get 31 so I don’t have to go back there anymore
and at the last mob, both me and the THF leveled so it was perfect. I got my level and we disbanded
Garlaige Citadel is next!!
Life Goes On..

Continuing this whenever-I-like-to-post blog, although any leveling stops at the moment while I try to juggle placement, school work, dissertasion, boyfriend and DS games, I made some progress in leveling Bonecraft.
I’m using an old guide from Allakhazam, however I mixed in a few things which seems more economic for me. Such as doing some Titanictus Shell to skill up to 40. Hopefully it would also raise my fishing skill which is at 96 now.
Yesterday I did some fishing on the ferry to measure on how fast I can reel in Titanictus, dissapointingly I could only caught 12 in 5 ferry rides, I need to sit some rides out when Sea Horror pops and no one to kill it. So therefore only skilling on Titanictus until 40 will definitely takes too long
After hitting lvl 30 Bonecraft, my inventory starts to get full. I can’t decide whether to just sell my 3 stacks of Beetle Arrowheads at only 5000 Gil a stack (quite a loss) or just store them somewhere in my mules until I can make them into arrows and make some profit off of it. Of course in the end I didn’t decide and just leave the arrowheads sitting around in my gobbie bag
I found out that Cleveland and Etiene are out in Boyahda Tree to skill up and I though “Heck, might as well..” It was not sooner until Cleveland aggroed a Korrigan that I realized my macros are gone ; ; He almost died when I scrambled between macro palletes to find a Sleep macro.
About 45 mins later Tiamat popped, and we got about 7 people woke up and logged in at 4 am their time to fight Tiamat, and in total there were only 12 of us. It took a long time for sure, and I didn’t have macro whatsoever (still) that I had a hard time trying to stun its Firaga 3’s
Too bad that I had to go out to dinner with family when it was down to about 75%, but actually I’m a little relieved cause I imagine it would take quite some time to kill
