I dissapeared over the weekend due to family holiday to Bali. Plenty of sun, beaches, pools and great seafood.. the perfect paradise… if only I didn’t go with my family. Family holiday is equal to asking for troubles. Anyway, I came home with panda eyes from lack of sleep, pissed at my sisters, stomach flu and plenty more.
Kept of fishing and cooking when I got home. I don’t know if directions and what not matter in skilling up or HQ but I just do it anyway, just in case it’s true.
In several occasions, I think the current day relates to the direction too but not directly to the crystal. For example if you’re using a dark crystal but crafting on a Firesday, facing Water, Fire or Ice direction will make a difference. But again, it’s only an unproven hypothesis.
Skilling up post 70 in crafting is painfully slow, but when I was making Bream sushi earlier with only 2 lvls away from cap I got a 1.3 skill lvl in 2 stacks of ingredients. I was using Earth crystal, facing Wind direction, on an Iceday. Earth is weak against Wind and Wind is weak against Ice.
Speaking of skill up, I haven’t got fishing skill for quite awhile… been stuck at 86 for weeks now. Wonder what happens… I still fish in the same place and targeting the same fish that are still about a few lvls above mine… 
I should’ve exercised more precaution when somebody asks about fishing nowadays, with the abundance of botters that know shit about keeping up the economy. An ls mate asked how does fishing make money because they don’t go over 20k. That should’ve give me a red flag.
A true fisherman (ones that has a little brain in his head) will know what makes money when he does his easy research of what to skill up next.
A botter will just copy what other botters do and have little worries of undercutting cause they caught their fish in their sleep.
I’m always glad to see another fishermen, so when he asked.. I told him that only selling fish in AH is bad. I told him what fish sell fast and the best places to catch. Then he asked if he can catch Moat Carps using lures. I told him that the best option will probably making your own bait, cause a stack of ingredients will make you 12 stacks of Insect Paste. He replied with “I don’t want to make baits, cause I fish afk lol!”
That just slapped me in the face. The last thing I need is another botter undercutting the true fishermen.

Back home… with 64kbps

As the title said, I’m back home in Indonesia with my lovely 64kbps internet connection. I test on how far I can go with it.
Result: I kept getting R0 in fighting Fafnir with only 18 ppl in there, and no other linkshells at all. On Dynamis-Windurst farming run with ls, 19 ish ppl that is, I had 5+ seconds lag. Imagine with 50+ ppl -.-
I guess all that’s left to do is just more fishing and crafting…. *yay*
