Skill up madness!

So I hit another level in Cooking & Fishing. I’ve found skilling up to be best on Lightsday. When I’m skilling on something at about 2-3 levels below the cap, I got 0.1 for every synth! Isn’t that just great? I don’t know how it was possible, it didn’t occur in that one particular Lightsday, but a few. Slowed down when i’m only one level below the cap, but that many skillups in lvl 80+ crafting?

Like yesterday, I just capped on Sole Sushi at 84, I started making some Yellow Curry (capped at 85). It took me only a stack of Yellow Curry and half a stack of Marron Glace (capped at 86) to get one lvl.

The other night, I was lfg for a few hours with no invite when Gamekid, a player that I’ve known for awhile asked me if I would like to party. When I joined the party, one member just up and left o.o Gamekid just started getting angry, said that that guy was the third person who just up and left for that very same party, and decided to just disbanded the party ^^;

I’m in need for merit points checking the ppl lfg, I found another BLM that partied with me the other day was also lfg. I sent him/her (I’ll pick ‘her’ cause she’s a Mithra) a tell if she would be interested in a manaburn party. She said yes, so I tried to find a BRD and RDM before trying to invite other BLMs. I grabbed the RDM from the cancelled party which happened to be a friend of mine, Orangeknight, and a random BRD. I knew Gamekid has a BLM but when I asked him, he said he was just so mad that he was not in the mood for exp-ing anymore

While waiting for another BLM to show up, the BRD starting to ask questions….. strange questions. What do I mean? When we were deciding where to go, I mentioned that I don’t have Ilrussi Atoll then he asked what it is. That’s when I got bad feeling. Then he told us that he has never done any manaburn party before. You know what I mean by now? There is no way that a lvl 75 BRD get through his lvls without doing any manaburn party.

So I sent a tell to the RDM “Do me a favor and pull for us later? I don’t trust this guy to know how to pull”. None of us said anything to him though, I don’t care if his friend gave him the account or whether he bought it, as long as he can do his job. Then he asked if we could invite his Ninja friend…. in a manaburn party…. When we said no, he apologized and said that the NIN is his rl friend so he couldn’t say no and disbanded.

I was actually glad he left, and decided to just go with the three of us, 2 BLMs and a RDM. We were going to kill stuff while looking for more people, better than sitting around doing nothing. We went to Vozold Island in Mount Zhayolm camping Wamoura Prince. We ended up with 3 more BLMs to form a full party. They were great players, we were pulling about three Princes at a time and also killing Wamoura one by one. It was a lot of fun!

Though we get rather messy towards the end of the party, ended up in wipe-out and the only ppl survived are only those BLMs with RDM subjob, which couldn’t raise us
So the rest of us just HP-ed back and call it a day. Sorry for that guys, and I hope we can repeat the fun again!

Oh in case you don’t noticed, I’m trying out a race changer program. I want a little change, and I actually want to see how armor looks :p you know Taru aren’t tall enough.

So I’m back…

Sorry for the lack of update, I went back to Bournemouth on the last week in July. Then I had to keep my mom company while she and her friend went nuts shopping in London (summer sale you see…)

Back in Bournemouth, and I fell back to the schedule of fishing for about 3 hours every morning. Still no luck in getting invite for BLM… but I’m getting used to it.

So my progress so far.. Shiefu got Noodle Kneading key item. Pasta profit seems to be great, but not a lot of people buy them. Not to mention a particular ingredient, Misx. Parsley, is only available when Tavnazian is under a nation’s control.

On another note, Miths finally got her first Pelican Ring. She came in 17th but she still got the ring anyway. It speeds up fishing skillups, though I haven’t noticed the difference so far. She finally got lvl 88 Fishing too!

With my lack of invite, I decided to turn on to LS to max my exp and start merit-ing. After camping a king, we decided to manaburn some Ebony Pudding. It’s a good mob to manaburn as it’s very soft to magic, the downside though, the camp is not that big so the place only supports a party. Quite a few mages go there to duo though, it’s by luck that we got there when a couple of other mages were finishing up.

I maxed my exp by getting 4k exp and a limit point (another 10k exp) in 2 hrs (or so) that we spent there. Not bad at all!
